Caroline O’Connor is a freelance Interior Architect, Furniture and T.V. Production, and Exhibition Designer.
O’Connor is a Cabinetmaker and graduate of Environmental/Spatial Design, Dublin Institute of Technology. Exhibition work includes, the National Museum of Country Life, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and currently the Pearse Museum for the OPW. Her ‘Glow Table’ and ‘Pod Workstation’ were short-listed at the Institute of Designers in Ireland Awards in 1998 and 1999 respectively.
T.V. Set Design work includes the 6 series of the RTE music television programme ‘Other Voices’, 2002-2007, and Production Designer for ‘The Running Mate’ for TG4, best Irish Drama at the IFTA’s 2007.

O’Connor merges her design skills with a strong practical leaning. Colour, pattern, light and surprise reoccur in the contemporary design works. Quality design and execution are paramount in every project.
