Martin Gallagher graduated from Letterfrack Furniture College in 2006. Shortly afterwards he worked with Klimmek & Henderson for a two year period. Here he gained invaluable knowledge of a wide variety of materials and different production processes. Lead by a team of highly skilled craftspeople he perfected his manufacturing skills and design awareness. This experience allowed him to become a more focused furniture designer.

Martin’s choice of materials is a reflection of his natural surroundings of the North West. His designs are a direct result from his exposure to modern architecture. Martin experiments with geometric shapes and solids and voids are a key theme in his work. His emphasis on using quality modern materials and colour give his simple yet innovative designs a fresh contemporary aesthetic.
