Peter studied in the Furniture College in Letterfrack and completed a four year degree programme in Furniture Technology in 2008. During his studies in Letterfrack, Peter experimented with traditional and modern material and construction techniques which are visible in his work, he was also influenced by the technologies now widely available in industry and their further applications,

His work is a mixture of simple forms seen in different ways using modern and traditional materials. He has also exhibited in locations such as Letterfrack, Clonmel, Farmleigh and the RDS and in 2008 Peter won second place in the RDS Craft Council Awards with Bench F/7 which is a collaboration with John Ryan
